GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

The render of a vehicle should:

• Have minimum age limit of 25* years, with a driver's license issued 2 years ago.
• Has Greek, European (for EU countries) license driver's license, or International driving license.
• Has a personal credit or debit card.
• Renters aged between 21-25 years old are subject to the New Drivers surcharge at a cost of 10 € per day.

Pick up a vehicle

• The renter upon pick up of the vehicle should have with him:
• Valid legal driver's license.
• His personal credit or debit card or. Third party cards are not accepted, unless in writing authenticated authorization.
• In case the render does not have a credit card can rent a car if you accept Partial Damage Waiver insurance (C.D.W.), and advances the value of the rental.
• The vehicle will be delivered with fuel specified in the contract and should returned with corresponding fuel.
• Upon the pick up of the vehicle, the renter will be given the Lease Agreement rental which you should check, read the attached terms and sign. The Lease Agreement will present all of the services / insurances provided as well as any of the additional services-insurances with the corresponding charges.
• It is very important that the renter checks the vehicle and reports any damage already on it to avoid a damage charge from a previous rental. The renter will be asked to sign for the pick up and return of the relevant vehicle a proof document for any existing damage to the vehicle.

Insurances

For any damage or theft caused by the fault / negligence of the renter in the vehicle, the renter is liable up to the total commercial value of the vehicle the time of the accident or theft.

Partial Release of Liability for Damages (C.D.W.)

The render may limit his liability for his legal participation in any damage to the vehicle: a) to the amount of 1000 € paying it an amount of €2 per rental day

b) in the amount of 750 € paying it amount of €3 per rental day
c) in the amount of 500 € paying it an amount of €5 per rental day provided that the damage is not due to a violation of the Road Traffic Code (K.O.K.) (e.g. red light violation or STOP sign, illegal overtaking, driving under the influence alcohol etc)

Full Disclaimer Damages (F.D.W.)

If the render wishes to release of the above amounts of €1000, €750, €500 respectively, he should pay an additional amount of €10 per day

Note: The above insurances do not cover damages caused by violations of the Code of Road Traffic (K.O.K.), and damage caused to tires, mirrors, lights, underbody part as well as the interior of the vehicle.

Collection / Return:

• Free at our store.
• Within the city, airport charge €30.

Minimum rental time

Three days. At the end of the last 25 hours, the renter will be charged the cost of one more day.

Expenses management of violations

The render is responsible to pay the fines that may result from violations of KOK during the car rental. In the event that they are not paid by the renter and the Nousias Rent a Car needs to mediate for the payment, the render will be charged of the full amount of the fine plus a fee.

Removal of Plates

In case of removal of plates during the rental, the renter will be charged the rent until collection of the plates from the competent agency.

Loss or destruction of a key

In case loss or destruction of a key during the rental, then the renter should pay the value of the key

Accessories

Child seats and chains are available by reservation only.

No-show

In case the renter does not pick up the car on the agreed day and time without prior written or telephone notice, the reservation will be canceled after 3 hours. Nousias Rent a Car reserves the right to charge the render with three days' rental of the same category of car concerned the reservation.

Car interior

In case the vehicle is returned with stains that require biological cleaning, (eg hair, sand etc. on the seats or on the floor, in the trunk, etc.), the render is charged. In case of damage caused by the render (e.g. burning) there will be a corresponding charge depending on the damage

Transportation by ship

In case of a rental car is transported by ship, the renter must return the vehicle at the receiving store, otherwise all transport costs are borne by him. In case of mechanical breakdown or accident, the renter is obliged to take the car to the shop us (outside the island) at his own expense. During transport of the car by ship, the insurance coverage does not apply.

Extension of Lease

If the render wishes to keep the rental vehicle longer than the period already agreed, he should contact in writing with our store to note the rental extension and sign the new Lease Agreement.

The standard kilometers are 100 per day of rent, unless otherwise agreed. Kilometers that exceed the agreed is due to cost of 0,2 per kilometer.

The above prices include VAT. The above prices do not include Taxes Airport (A.S.C.).

The airport tax applies when the car is picked up from airport. All fines and administrative penalties accrue the render.

The rates and rental terms are subject to change without notice. Competent for any dispute resolution are the Courts of Ioannina.
